The Marshall Series Chess set is the quintessential Staunton Pattern Chess set, the physical embodiment of the classical design and proportions that have made the Staunton Pattern the standard for all Chess sets.
This Marshall Chess pieces are classic Staunton styling and perfectly sized and weighted for either casual or tournament play. Even such small details as the individual teeth in the knights’ mouths are separately carved.
All chess pieces are double Weighted by adding a stud of iron within the base. Each of Chessmen has green felt to prevent the damage of the chessboard surface. All chess pieces are expertly carved and weighted for fantastic hand-feel.
