This legendary chess set used in many major chess tournaments in the Soviet Union in the 1950s and 1960. This is an accurate reproduction of famous chess set played in 1962 Soviet Championship Tournament by Mikhail Tal.
All chess pieces are Weighted by adding a stud of iron within the base. Each of Chessmen has green felt to prevent the damage of the Chessboard.. The chunky wide base pieces are a collector’s delight.
